Nanohybrid technology
Filler particle size effects the aesthetic and mechanical properties of composites1. Luna contains a hybrid of nano and micron sized particles to achieve optimal aesthetics and strength.

Chameleon effect

Luna displays a chameleon effect, enabling it to take on the shade of the tooth surrounding it and present a seamless margin between tooth and restoration. Luna has an optimal translucency that allows the creation of natural looking restorations.

Natural fluorescence and opalescence

When exposed to ultraviolet light, Luna displays the fluorescent characteristics of natural tooth structure. Opalescent properties also match that of a natural tooth. In all types of light, restorations using Luna display intrinsic brilliance that ensures patient satisfaction after they leave the dental chair.

High Flexural Strength

High flexural strength is paramount to mitigate tension and compressive forces teeth are exposed to in stress bearing situations1. Class I and Class II restorations are subject to high forces and require the use of materials with high flexural strength. With flexural strength of 136 MPa, Luna is ideal for use in stress bearing areas and is designed to withstand the forces of mastication.

Superior Compressive Strength

Luna has a filler load of 77% by weight. Strontium glass filler in combination with the carefully selected filler loading, delivers high compressive strength to enhance the longevity of restorations.


Optimal Radiopacity

Restorative materials with radiopacity enable the detection of voids and secondary caries throughout the life of a restoration2. Luna has a radiopacity level higher than dentine3, ensuring clear visibility of restoration margins on radiographs for quick and confident diagnosis.

Non-stick to instruments

Luna’s non-stick handling facilitates the placement of restorations. Luna will not slump or pull back, enabling the efficient creation of optimal dental morphology.
Luna has a creamy consistency, with firm packing, making it easy to layer the composite without voids.

Extensive shade range

Luna is available in 13 universal shades (A1, A2, A3, A3.5, A4. B1, B2, B3, C1, C2, C3, D2, D3).

The high viscosity, neutral ph tooth whitening gels ensure the greatest patient comfort in a take home kit. The unique blend of soothers, conditioners and high water content assist in reducing sensitivity.

Natural soother and conditioner

The incorporation of special additives minimises plaque formation and enhances remineralisation to further reduce sensitivity. Antibacterial properties help in tooth recovery.

High water content

No bleaching light required

Pola Office+ can be used with or without a bleaching light, as it does not require activation. While a light is not necessary, you certainly can use a bleaching light or a standard heat emitting curing light to accelerate the bleaching process and impress your patients.

Built-in desensitiser

A ‘jump start’ 35% carbamide peroxide system to accelerate the take home tooth whitening procedure.

Jump start

A patient requesting whiter teeth wants to see a result when they walk out of the dental office. Promoting a take home system, such as Pola Day or Pola Night, means they carry out the procedure themselves at home. Get them excited about bleaching by giving them a “jump start” with Pola Zing.

Apply Pola Zing to the patient’s trays the same way a take home system is applied. They can wear it for 30 minutes in the waiting room before they go home. Most patients see their teeth change 3 or 4 shades. After seeing the results from this 30 minute session, patients begin to see just how effective tooth whitening can be, before they start their at home treatment.

A potassium nitrate and fluoride releasing desensitising gel.


Soothe, a sustained release gel containing 6% potassium nitrate and 0.1% fluoride gel, relieves tooth sensitivity caused by chemical and thermal changes. Unlike other desensitisers,  Soothe will not interfere with the whitening process.

Apply before or after whitening

Sensitivity can occur during or after the tooth whitening procedure. Soothe can be applied before or after the treatment.



Alloybond is a high strength, fluoride releasing, amalgam bond

Alloybond’s unique dimethacrylate resin groups provide twice the cross linking and superior strength.

Alloybond does not contain BisGMA nor Bis-Phenol A.

Twice the cross linking

SDI’s unique dimethacrylate resin, with carboxylic groups, provide twice the cross linking compared to the 4-meta system. The SDI resin system contains two cross links per chain when polymerized, whilst the 4-meta monomethacrylate system cross links only once. Additional cross links create a stronger resin matrix, superior chemical bonding and higher cohesive strength.

Ready to go!

A single component, light cured self-etching, fluoride releasing dentin and enamel bonding system.

It’s good to go!

Go! is a super quick adhesive saving you valuable chair time: you don’t have to shake the bottle, etch the dentin nor do you have to wash it off. You don’t even need to rub or agitate it! Just one application is required. Once cured, you can immediately place your restorative over Go!. Your patient is then good to Go!. Try Go! on your pediatric patients because it is so fast to use.

HEMA free

Go! does not contain HEMA. Protect yourself and your staff from possible skin irritation associated with HEMA.

Quick color change

Initially, Go! is a dark yellow color, but upon curing, it changes to clear. You know when you can go to the next step.

No more post-operative sensitivity

You can’t over dry or over etch when you use Go! Therefore, post-operative sensitivity will not occur.

The contraction stress is completely eliminated by selective hygroscopic expansion/water absorption of the thin adhesive layer – not observed in resin bonds.

High radiopacity

Due to the ionglass™ fillers, which contain fluoro-aluminosilicate glass for radiopacity, Riva Bond LC’s unique ingredients are radiopaque for easy identification. Unlike Riva Bond LC, other adhesives show little, if any, radiopacity.

Everything normally shrinks

Adhesives shrink and so do composites causing huge stresses at the margins and risk restoration failure. Unlike other adhesives, Riva Bond LC does not cause stress at the margins PLUS it absorbs the stresses of the significant shrinkage of the composite. According to Sydney University, “like amalgams, Riva Bond LC has a slight positive expansion unequivocally sealing the cavity preventing both stress and microleakage.” (1)

Riva Bond LC compensates for the polymerisation shrinkage of composites, therefore reducing post-operative sensitivity and increasing the life of a composite restoration.

The high bond strength you expect

The chemical adhesion of Riva Bond LC assists it to achieve a high bond strength. As Riva Bond LC also compensates for the polymerisation shrinkage of composites, in reality the bond strength is actually higher than traditional adhesives because adhesion is not challenged by the stress of the composite shrinking. Traditional adhesives need high bond strengths to compensate for the shrinkage.

Proprietary bioactive ionglass™ technology

Riva Bond LC utilises SDI’s proprietary ionglass™ filler, a radiopaque, high ion releasing, bioactive glass. Riva Bond LC releases very high fluoride levels to assist with remineralisation of the natural dentition. Furthermore, the bacteriostatic properties protect teeth from decay.
