Das auf Erfahrungen aus 50 Jahren dentaler Forschung basierende und mit Stolz im hochmodernen SDI-Werk in Australien hergestellte Riva Star ist ein SilberdiaminfluoridSystem zur sofortigen Desensibilisierung von Zähnen.

Dieses SDF der neuen Generation erlaubt ein minimal intervenierendes Vorgehen mit einer Prävention, Remineralisation und möglichst geringe Invasivität vereinenden Philosophie.

Riva Star ist ein patentiertes, nicht-invasives 2-Stufen-System zur Desensibilisierung der Zähne mit ein paar tropfen.

Desensibilisierung Für Zwei Jahre

Eine klinische Studie bestätigt die sofortige Wirkung nach einer Anwendung von Riva Star; die Desensibilisierung hält 2 Jahre an.1

Effektiver Biofilmhemmer

Studien belegen auch, dass Riva Star ein effektiver Biofilmhemmer ist. Riva Star zeigt bei vier Bakterienarten (E.faecalis, S.gordonni, S.mutans, S.mitis) größere Hemmzonen als Natriumhypochlorit.2

Sofortige Desensibilisierung

Das Silber fluorid und das Kaliumiodid in Riva Star verschließen die mikroskopisch kleinen Dentintubuli. Es entsteht eine schwer lösliche Ausfällung, die für sofortige Abhilfe sorgt.

Minimierte Verfärbung

Das Zwei-Schritt-Verfahren von Riva Star minimiert im Gegensatz zu anderen Silberfluorid-Systemen das Risiko von Verfärbungen. Bei Auftrag der Kaliumiodid-Lösung (KI) über dem Silberdiaminfluorid (SDF) entsteht eine erst cremig-weiße und dann farblose Silberiodid-Ausfällung.

Schnellere und einfachere Behandlung

Die Behandlung mit SDF ist schneller und einfacher als invasive Therapiemethoden. SDF erlaubt ein minimal intervenierendes Vorgehen mit einer Prävention, Remineralisation und möglichst geringe Invasivität vereinenden Philosophie.

1. Die Zähne mit der Prophy-Paste reinigen und den Behandlungsbereich mit Watterollen isolieren.

   

2. Trocknen und das umliegende Zahnfleisch mit dem beiliegendem Gingivaschutz großzügig abdecken.

3. Mit fächelnden Bewegungen lichthärten.

4. Mit dem silbernen Applikator die Folie auf der Silberkapsel durchstechen. Mit kreisenden Bewegungen die Folie an den Rand der Öffnung schieben.

5. Die Lösung der silberfarbenen Kapsel vorsichtig auf den zu behandelten Bereich auftragen.

6. Sofort mit dem  grünen Applikator die Folie der grünen Kapsel durchstechen. Mit kreisenden Bewegungen die Folie an den Rand der Öffnung schieben.

7. Die Lösung aus der grünen Kapsel großzügig auf die zu behandelnde Stelle auftragen. Gegebenenfalls mehrfach applizieren bis die Cremefarbe verschwunden ist.

8. Trockentupfen und Zahnfleischbarriere entfernen.

ACHTUNG:
Bei falschem Gebrauch kann das Produkt Flecken auf den Zähnen verursachen. Der Patient muss vor Gebrauch über dieses Risiko informiert werden.
